GPS, the same technology used in car navigation systems, has become an increasingly effective and popular tool for states to use in the fight against domestic violence.  In June, Texas joined 17 other states that have passed legislation requiring GPS be used as a condition of probation for a convicted domestic violence offender.

President Obama administration has created a new policy for foreign women who are victims of domestic and sexual abuse.  They can now receive asylum and help in the United States.  So, after countless court arguments, including resistance from the Bush administration, more woman can now receive help from services in our own country.
