  In 1994, Nicole Simpson’s sister Denise Brown established The Nicole Brown Charitable Foundation in Nicole’s memory, to assist victims of domestic violence
• The California Women’s Law Center - www.cwlc.org
  The California Women’s Law Center (CWLC) works to ensure, through systemic change, that life opportunities for women and girls are free from unjust social, economic, and political constraints
• Free Battered Women - www.freebatteredwomen.org
  Through public education, community organizing, advocacy for support groups (both peer-led and professionally facilitated), policy work, and legal action, Free Battered Women seeks to create sustainable change with and for incarcerated survivors of domestic violence
• Family Justice Center - www.familyjusticecenter.org
  This organization seeks to provide a long-term positive impact on the community by compassionately providing effective, coordinated services and support to those whose lives have been touched by child abuse, domestic violence, elder/dependent adult abuse, or sexual assault.

  Human Options has served over 45,000 individuals in direct services, and over 105,000 through the community education program agency for abused women and their children in Orange County, CA.
• Laura’s House - www.laurashouse.org
  Laura’s House prevents and reduces the incidence of domestic and family violence through shelter and support programs, education and outreach.
• WINGS - www.ywcawings.org
  Women in Need Growing Strong is a multi-purpose Domestic Violence program that provides services to victims of domestic violence with compassion, understanding, and cultural sensitivity. It is an integral part of the YWCA-WINGS mission to educate and empower women to be self-sufficient.
• The White Ribbon Campaign - www.whiteribbon.ca
  The White Ribbon symbolizes a man’s pledge to never commit, condone, or remain silent about violence against women.
• 1736 Family Crisis Center - www.1736familycrisiscenter.org
  The 1736 Family Crisis Center is dedicated to improving the safety and fostering the long-term survival and success of runaway and homeless youth, battered women and their children, and other individuals in need.
• Crossroads - www.crossroadswomen.org
  The mission of Crossroads is to provide housing, education, support and counseling in a homelike environment for women who have been incarcerated.
• Action Committee for Women in Prison - www.acwip.net
  This organization is for the humane treatment and release of incarcerated women behind bars.
